I'm on a weight loss program with weight watchers:
Last weigh-in date: August 26
Weight 266.6
Cumulative loss 38.4 lbs since May 1
Bodyfat percent 36.9 (down 2.0% from peak)
Cholesterol 205 (down 19 points from 2006)
I’m pleased to announce the “Commitment to Health Excellence” write-off.
This is to encourage all Epinions writers to make or renew a commitment to excellent health and to review the products and services that can help.
Over the past several years, I have let my weight go, even though I have exercised on relatively regular occasions. The result was weight over 300 pounds, warnings from my primary care physician, an umbilical hernia, due in part to heredity but also due to the weight, and knees that had degenerated.
So, I joined weight watchers, have increased my activity at least somewhat and am committed to a more healthy lifestyle over the long term. I’m still quite large, but I’m down 25 pounds so far.
I encourage my fellow writers to join me in committing to improving their health.
For me, I am going to post and keep my weekly weigh-in results on my member page.
The write-off rules are very simple:
1. Write about a product or service that has helped you maintain or renew a commitment to improving your health.
2. Mention the write-off and include a link to my member page, where I will list all participants
3. Read as many of the participants’ submissions as you can.
4. Multiple submissions are encouraged. Write early and often.
5. The write-off will be open from now through September 30 2008
