My Trusting Family!!!

When I first began writing and reading epinions, I was somewhat unsure about exactly what the WEB OF TRUST actually was. I added people to my trusted member list when I had read many of their epinions, found that they consistently wrote high quality epinions.
Then something happened. People began to add me to their trusted member list! "Oh my gosh!" I thought! This must be an honor, as I only added people to my list that I had some kind of respect for, and now, someone had bestowed that respect on me! mcrews is my mom, so of course she was first to add me, but then CRXLover88 also added me. I felt a new sense of responsibility to write and rate well. This now affected someone besides just me!
Since then, I have made it a practice to regularly read all of the people who have me on their web of trust. I sit down about every 10 days, and read each person who trusts me. It has become a kind of mini family reunion for me! I feel that by reading people regularly, I am coming to know them as individual personalities. Most of the people who write for epinions occasionally write about something that is personal in their lives, and I really enjoy these articles. It gives me a "base" to know where they are coming from when they write other epinions!
For example, on of my favorites is pennyruba, who is very open about having a learning disability. It is interesting to see how it affects her daily life and decisions. I am also enjoying reading justmesee's series on marriage, although somewhat long, the epinions are very enlightening, and I recommend them to all.
I enjoy watching new members become better and better writers, such as mjfmn who became a member in May, has written 3 epinions, all of which have received HR's. I feel a sense of pride for him, even though I had nothing to do with his success. Because he has trusted me, he is part of my epinions "family", so his success is important to me!
I read with envy as Debbietipton wrote about how wonderful her mother-in-law had been to her, and chuckle with sympathy at melliott03 who is raising his 4th teenager! I got insight into the thoughts of sfarmer76, when on his profile page, he inserted the horrible picture of Elian with the machine gun seemingly pointed right at him during the raid of his home.
So on these nights when I go through the list of people who actually gave me the honor of trusting me, and read and catch up on all that they are thinking and doing, I learn more about each of them individually. Each of them has special gifts, and interests. I do not always agree with their opinion, but I welcome the opportunity to learn from each of them. I am truly enjoying getting to know them, and watching them become successful at something they all enjoy!
