The Bottom Line: The Ranger is a fun little truck, it lacks refinement but provides an alternative to econo-sedans for those on a budget. An excellent first truck.
The Ford Ranger has been one of the best selling small trucks since its introduction in the ‘80s. The Ranger’s low price, combined with its “real truck” usefulness and image make the Ranger worth considering when shopping for a mini pick-up.

Pros: Gas Mileage, Smooth Ride, Excellent Factory Tires
Cons: Gutless, Bench Seat, Clunky Shifting at Times
The Bottom Line: Good little truck, but I suggest the XL over the XLT or the 4X4.

Pros: Good on gas, better than the other trucks.
Cons: Its new right now so i have no cons.
The Bottom Line: Its a good vehicle to have, shop around before buying for best deals. Then buy these trucks are getting better all the time

Pros: This truck gets really good gas mileage and is great for first time drivers.
Cons: This truck is really light and you can feel the wind going down the road.
The Bottom Line: This truck is a good investment for the first time driver. It is easy and non-sophisticated to operate. It is just the ideal starter vehicle.

Pros: Quiet, dependable, economical, good performance.
Cons: Uncomfortable seating, little leg room in standard cabs, low mileage in 4x4.
The Bottom Line: The 2002 was one of my favorite Rangers. If the seats had been comfortable I would have kept it.
