Epinions is a great resource for first-hand reviews and is often my starting point when researching potential purchases. But there seems to be a category that is sadly missing from the lineup: firearms. I'm not sure if Epinions has a reason, but I cannot find a firearms category anywhere. It's a legitimate, federally-protected industry that infuses hundreds of millions of dollars into our economy every year.

Several Epinions members have written firearm reviews. There's a Writers Corner category where they can sometimes fit, though the better place to find 'em is in the hidden catch-all category in Sports & Outdoors. Look here and you'll find plenty of firearm recommendations and reviews:
