Louis Vuitton handbags are s-o-o-o expensive that the brand practically begs to be counterfeited. One tip if you want a real one: Look in consignment stores, particularly shops that specialize in upscale merchandise.
It's a very long story, but I got a Louis Vuitton handbag included in a huge lot of stuff that I bought at an auction. It was new and appeared to be the real thing, complete with a key for the lock. It sold for $100 at a consignment store and I wish now it had been priced at $250.
So... look in consignment stores. If there is a wealthy suburb or neighborhood near you, look in consignment (or second-hand) shops in those areas. You'll probably get luckier than you will on the Internet.
