Pros: Car delivered without damage. Cons: Lies, lies, lies, unreliable, untimely, rude
When my girlfriend wanted to ship her newly leased car to her college in the east coast from LA, I knew that we might have to use an auto transporter so that we wouldn't have to drive. Plus, we were taking the MCATs in the middle of August and needed to...
Pros: driver was nice, and helpful. Cons: Poor customer service, inaccurate price quote, abysmal initial service, delays
I had my car shipped from California to the South. I decided on A to Z based on references. The first problem I encountered was the quote, which was $825. When I called to set up shipment, I was told that the rate I had could not have been from them,...
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NONE!!!!! Cons: LIE, BAD SERVICE, CAN'T TRACK CAR, 20 DAYS LATE DELIVERING CAR, AWFUL
I had my car shipped from the Northeast to California. What a nightmare! They said it would be there in 10 days and that I could track it the whole way. Well, 7 days later I called to find out where it was and they never answered phone, never called me ...
Pros: see bbb report Cons: Can't satisfy all 100% of time
A to Z Responds......The writer doesn't say how our contract (that he signed) states in numerous places that we are a broker and contract out the vehicles for shipment. We do not own our own trucks, which is to the advantage of the shipper because we...
Pros: Priced competitivly, staff very professional and helpful. Great service. Cons: None for me.
I recently retired from business and decided to relocate from New Jersey to the Los Angles area to be with a loved one who lived there. After searching on-line for auto movers, I settled on A to Z Auto Shipping. I did a great deal of research with...
Great service, dependable, and HONEST by sammi1 ,May 11 '06
Pros: On time service. Car delivered damage free. Friendly staff. Cons: No complaints.
Contracted with another company to transport my vehicle from Los Angeles to Maryland. They gave me a great price and I sent them a deposit. They never came to pick up my car as promised and told me I'd have to wait another 2 weeks.
I called A to Z Auto Shipping...They were $75 more but picked up my car as promised and I received it in 7 days. From the time I called for a price until I received my car I felt confident in my decision. The agents were extremely polite and accomodating. The driver called before he picked up my car and delivered it. I even gave him a tip.
Pros: Price, on time delivery Cons: Damaged car, argumentative driver
I used this company to transport my car from Florida to the LA area. Everything went smoothly until the car arrived and I noticed a large scratched up area on the rear bumper. The driver tried to argue with me claiming the damage was not that bad but believe me it was. A large oval discolored area on my bumper is definitely something. He said it happened when the car that went in after mine went forward and bumped up against my car. He offered to take $100 off my total cost and I agreed because I figured that was better than nothing. The idea of trying to file a claim and get the actual amount of money it would have taken to fix it seemed like it would be a long and arduous process. The damage probably was about $500 or more to fix. I guess damage can happen with any auto shipper but don't expect this company to take your complaint seriously. The driver didn't even apologize!!!
Nice people Good Service by woggels4747 ,Apr 06 '07
Pros: Easy order process. Got my paperwork by fax same day. Cons: Had to wash my car after delivery.
I was recommended to A to Z by a friend who had shipped his car to Florida with them. He also told me to look them up on the Better Business Bureau and another web site called Transport Reviews. I went to the library and used the computer there to do some research. They had a very nice rating with the BBB and also at the other web site. They took my order right over the phone. I got a phone call back from them the next day confirming my shipping setup and within 5 days of the order my car was picked up in Monroe Township N.J. and arrived 8 days later in Sherman Oaks, CA. Driver was polite. I would use them again. The only thing I needed to do after the delivery was get the car washed. I guess after going across the country I should have expected that. I would use them again.
